Help Others Find A Job By Volunteering!

Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity in which you can truly improve someone's life by helping them find a job? If you have good people skills and are computer savvy, consider applying to become an AARP Foundation WorkSearch volunteer

You can make a real, positive difference.

Volunteers will provide much needed job coaching and support services to job seekers by:

  • Helping them understand the best techniques and resources for today's job search
  • Helping them assess their skills and interests and understand how they can be utilized in the current job market
  • Exploring their options by expanding their networks and conducting informational interviews
  • Teaching them how to execute an effective job search by understanding the use of technology and by developing an effective resume and/or preparing for an interview

No prior career coaching experience is needed.  Just a willingness to help.  Training will be provided and transportation costs reimbursed. For more information and to sign up, simply fill out this on-line application or call 1-877-659-0969 and a WorkSearch representative will contact you with more information.
