Volunteers will provide much needed job coaching and support services to job seekers by:
- Helping them understand the best techniques and resources for today's job search
- Helping them assess their skills and interests and understand how they can be utilized in the current job market
- Exploring their options by expanding their networks and conducting informational interviews
- Teaching them how to execute an effective job search by understanding the use of technology and by developing an effective resume and/or preparing for an interview
No prior career coaching experience is needed. Just a willingness to help. Training will be provided and transportation costs reimbursed.
